What exactly are printable stencils? I’m sure you’ve seen those wall decorations with interesting fleur de lis patterns on them. Most of these decorations have been made with printable stencils. While most stencils are for decor purposes, there are also many used for teaching kids to read the alphabet.
There are many free printable alphabet stencils that you can find online to print out or save to your pc that will help you do just that. By printing out these stencils, you can glue them to a harder paper backing or let your kids color them in. They can also use these stencils to decorate their own walls in their room. Or you can play with them a game whereby you show them an object (let’s say an apple or a banana) and the kids have to put the stencil letters together to form the correct word for that object.
